Solid baseboards
As the name suggests, solid baseboards are profiled in solid wood. They are glued, nailed or screwed. They generally match the wood species and treatment of the parquet.
White lacquered baseboards
Very fashionable, white lacquered skirting boards emphasize the contours of the room, creating a separation between the floor and the walls. They match almost any parquet and wall color. The standard version is available in two white colors, RAL 9010 and RAL 9016. Their height can vary between 30 and 70mm.
Paintable baseboards
In some cases, it makes sense to use paintable baseboards. The skirting boards are then primed with a primer to match the color of the wall on which they are installed. The painter then takes care of the finishing touches.
Paintable polyurethane baseboards
Polyurethane skirtings are available in a range of profiles, from the classic rectangle to a more elaborate profile. These skirtings are usually painted on site in the same or a different wall color.
Rectangular baseboards
There are several types of baseboard profiles. The most common are rectangular profiles. In some cases, such as white lacquered or paintable skirtings, it is possible to choose the height. Rounded baseboards
Rounded baseboards are generally profiled in solid wood or veneer. The edge of the skirting board is rounded by around 4 to 5mm, and the standard height is 70mm. The latter can also vary according to customer choice.
Berlin baseboards
For mansions, Haussmann-style apartments or renovation projects with an atypical style and ceiling or wall moldings, you can opt for "Berlin" baseboards. Several profiles, widths and heights are available for this type of baseboard.
