Fitting lock
A trim lock is a lock that uses fixed pieces of metal whose arrangement must match the pattern of the key bit so that the key can turn. Trim locks are inexpensive and robust. It's the basic lock that everyone knows.
Cylinder locks
The cylinder lock has a precise mechanism based on a series of pins of different sizes held in place by springs. There are several types of cylinder, but the most common are the classic European double-entry cylinder and the disengageable cylinder.
The classic cylinder opens doors from the inside or outside, but does not have a simultaneous mechanism. The disengageable European cylinder, on the other hand, allows keys to be inserted at the same time, so that the door can be opened from either side. This avoids the distressing experience of keys jammed in the lock because another key has already been inserted.
Condemnation lock
Condemnation locks belong to the flush-mounted lock category, designed for interior doors such as WC doors. It offers the advantage of being able to lock the door from inside the room, with a simple gesture of the hand, thanks to an easy-to-use bolt. The lock can be unlocked from the other side of the door at any time, should the need arise.
Lock with magnetic strike
The magnetic lock is equipped with a bolt flush with the panel, attracted by the magnetic striker when the door is closed. As a result, the door can be locked without the need for the handle, ensuring that the bolt remains unobtrusive. For added security, the door can be fitted with a cylinder.
Hook lock
A hook lock is a lock in which the bolt is replaced by a hook. It is particularly used for double sliding doors.
